Hazard 4® product warranty is available to products purchased directly from Civilian Lab (www.hazard4.com) and its listed authorized resellers (marketplace sellers on 3rd party platforms who are not on our dealer list are not authorized resellers). In no event shall Hazard 4® / Civilian Lab, LLC be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of the product(s), and any recovery is limited to the purchase price. All warranty-claim determinations made by Civilian Lab LLC will be within Civilian Lab’s sole discretion and will be final. Warranty claim can only be filed within the warranty period. If your claim is accepted, you will receive a RMA# and instruction by email.

 

HAZARD 4® & CIVILIAN® PRODUCT WARRANTY COVERAGE:
 
Apparel: The warranty covers the product for the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. If the product ever fails during the warranty period due to a manufacturing or material defect, then Civilian Lab, LLC will repair (if possible) or replace with like product at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, improper use, or the natural break down of colors and materials over time. All clothing items must be in un-worn, un-washed condition to be eligible for warranty.


Soft Goods (ie. Bags, Luggage, etc.): The warranty covers the product for the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. If the product ever fails during the warranty period due to a manufacturing or material defect, then Civilian Lab, LLC will repair or replace with like product at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, modification, accident, improper use, or the natural break down of colors and materials over time.


Watches: Only watches purchased from an authorized Hazard 4® watch reseller are eligible for warranty. The warranty covers the movement and manufacturer defects of the case components, crystal, and strap/bracelet. The warranty covers the tritium vials used in the watch, however, tritium isotope decays, and has a half-life of 12.3 years. So in that time it will glow at 1/2 the brightness of a new unit. The warranty does not cover improper care/handling, cosmetic scratches/blemishes, accidents, modification, unauthorized repairs, normal wear and tear, other causes which are not materials/workmanship defects, nor the watch’s mathematical accuracy.

 

WARRANTY PERIOD
 
Apparel: 30 days from the original date of purchase.
Soft Goods (bags, packs, luggages, etc.): 1 year from the original date of purchase.
Watches: 1 year from the original date of purchase.

 

EXTENDED WARRANTY:
 
Products registered within 30 days of purchase receive our Extended Warranty, no extended warranty will be offered past the 30-day period.


Apparel: 60 days from the original date of purchase.
Soft Goods: 10 years from the original date of purchase.
Watches: 2 years from the original date of purchase.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE (INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES THROUGH DEALERS):
 
Please submit your claim directly to the store where you purchased the item from.

 

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE (US PURCHASES):
 
  • Contact Us to request the Warranty Claim form.
  • Mark the defect point(s) with masking tape and attach a description, so we can identify the points for repair easily and clearly. Any defect point not marked will not be repaired.
  • Include the original sales receipt. If you received the item as a gift, be sure to attach a note to the receipt and state the SHIP TO info, or it will be sent to the original purchaser.
  • For watch warranty, please also include the Warranty Authentication Card that came with the watch.
  • Clearly label the RMA# on the package. Any package arrived at our facility without a valid RMA# will be discarded.
  • Ship out your warranty claim package within1 week of warranty claim approval. Your warranty request ticket will be closed after the 1-week period. Any package postmarked past the 1 week period will not be processed and will be sent back to you at your own option and expense.
  • Please ship your claimed item(s) with a shipping method that provides tracking information. Civilian Lab assumes no responsibility for lost package or missing item(s) from the customer to our facility and shipping charges are not refundable.
  • We will either repair or replace like product.
  • We will send out the replacement via ground shipping or U.S. Mail within the United States. All returns to international customers will be sent using standard postal shipping.
  • Allow at least 3-4 weeks for your replacement to be processed and shipped.

    WARRANTY SHIPPING COSTS:
     
    The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of sending the item to our facility. Civilian Lab, LLC will pay the return shipment to the customer. (Customer pays both directions if out-of-warranty repair is being done.)
