low-profile chest rig

This unique chest-pack attaches to the vertical straps on most backpacks and allows the user to access frequently needed items with ease. The front MOLLE array system allows mil-spec gear to be racked-up and clipping a shoulder strap (sold separately) onto the bag, also allows the VentraPack(TM) to be used as a small shoulder bag. A padded 4-way chest-harness is available for pack-free use (sold separately).

Pouches can attach to the VentraPack(TM) with our MOLLE-standard fastener straps. They also have tactical capabilities to carry magazines, water bottles, radios, etc. without looking too tactical.

Fantastic for navigating outdoors.Review by C
I recently took this out and attached it to my backpack, it works great for organizing small pieces of gear and I loved having a place to keep my maps and radio close at hand. Wonderful piece of equipment. (Posted on 8/18/2016)
Apocalypse Equipped Review: Hazard4 - VentrapackReview by Josh O
I really like the variety that this pack offers me, especially for times where I know I will be needing to carry a bunch of hand tools, but also needing my hands free. Roof crawlspaces, zombie-choked freeway, half-way up a power-pole, having your tools to hand and your movement unrestricted is a real boon, and this is certainly one way of ensuring it. Great packReview by Grant S
Though I wish it was a few inches bigger so I could fit my laptop, it does fit most everything I want when I'm on a film set and need to access my walkie, sunglasses, itinerary, maps, ipad, etc. The best part about it is I can use it for whatever job I'm on whether it be work related or tactical and I can rig it as a thigh rig, chest rig, whatever. Very cool. Very impressed (Posted on 2/5/2012)
VentraPack Chest Pack ReviewReview by James S
A great chest rig for my backpack so I can have my 'go to' items right there for me without having to take off my pack. Took less than 5 minutes to rig up into the backpack. Comes with a strap if I ever wanted to just take this rig with me for a dayhike. It seems to be made well made. (Posted on 7/22/2011)

Will this attach to the front line assault? I am thinking of getting it and would really like a pouch for the upper chest.
Yes, you can attach VentraPack to the chest rig with Varness-Pal:

When you lay down the zippered pouch at a 90, can you use a clipboard against to make Field sketches? Will it support the pressure of writing on it?
The folding shelf part of the pack is intended for use as an impromptu work area, including writing and repairs. Field sketches should be just fine.

Kinda hard to tell how big it would be on my chest, you should have your products pictured on mannequins.
Hello, thank you very much for your suggestion. You can check out this review here for photos on an actual person: http://apocalypseequipped.blogspot.com/2013/11/review-hazard4-ventrapack.html. Is there a way to attach this to the back of pack to create a "beavertail" for carrying a rifle or stuffing a jacket, etc?

The VentraPack is designed to be worn on the chest with our backpacks or any backpack that has webbing or MOLLE strips on the shoulder straps. So for what you're trying to do, you'll need to improve I'm afraid. The VentraPack is not very thick and won't fit a jacket.

And it will be on to "patrol pack"? (don't have allready buy it so i would like to know if there are compatible before to buy) thanks a lot !
Yes. You can attach the Ventrapack to most backpacks that have the vertical straps/loops going down the shoulder straps (like on the Second Front, Patrol, etc.)
