evac™ series

carbine sling pack

This version of the Evac™ sling pack was by popular demand specifically designed to accommodate the AR-15/M16 family of rifles in their taken-down state, but suits anyone who needs the extra room. By splitting the upper and lower of the rifle and nesting the parts between the included padded divider, shooters can transport their carbine in a relatively small package. Additional external pockets are designed to carry magazines, cleaning kit, extra parts and everything you need for a day shooting in the desert, transporting your work gun, or just hauling around urban gear.

Great for 2 uses

I have bought this bag twice. The first was for a gun bag. I am able to keep my full size AR15 with the muzzle sticking out of the top through the zipper. The lining on the inside is able to hold a pistol holster for my Glock 17. The outside pouches can hold what ever you need and multiple magazines. For the second one I was looking for a better photography bag. I first got the pillbox by hazard 4 but it just wasn’t for me. Since I loved this bag for my guns I figured this would be perfect for my camera gear but the lining wouldn’t allow for the dividers so I bought the evac photo insert and to my surprise it just barley fists. Most of the items that I would take for my camera fits in the insert and since it is shorter then the take down there is room for a pouch or 2 on the top and still able to close just right. They say the evac wouldn't fit but for me it does and closes just fine. With having 2 of the same bags and a little imagination I figured out how to attach the 2 bags together (it does make it a little heavy) but with added buckle extensions I have made a kind of backpack. With the strap being able to change from left side carry to right side carry all you have to do is change the bottom attachment and your done.

blend into the crowd

I ordered the greyman for a rifle build I could carry in the car. I put a carbine length rifle and put a few items into the side pockets and took it into relatives house who is anti firearms. They commented on the bag, that it looked nice and was well built. They never suspected what was really in it, or had been in it when I showed it to them. If you are looking for a cross country pack might want something different but with a few small bags its perfect for a weekend

Good choice for the Tac14 DM

After purchasing a Remington Tac14 DM (detachable magazine) I realized there few options available to carry or transport. The Tac14 fits completely inside the Takedown with the magazine inserted. Extra mags fit the outside side pockets. Because the inner padded sleeve is open on both ends, I took the padded divider from my plan b pack and places into the bottom of the Takedown for extra support and padding for the muzzle. I currently own the Plan b,freelancer, and PhotoRecon and love them all. I like the extra length of the Takedown and have room for addition items for hiking with the Tac14. The downside to any of these along packs is carrying any amount of weight for any length of time. Pack light!
