HWD - Blackout

titanium tritium dive-watches

Hazard 4® watch hands & indicators glow continuously (night or day,) powered by an unusual, government-regulated technology that combines hydrogen-3 gas (tritium/H3), glass tubes, and phosphors into self-contained mini-lamps (expertly Swiss-made in many colors.) Tritium bulbs don't charge by battery, sun, or flashlight, unlike other watches using simple luminescent paint or battery-run film. They don't fade overnight like those paints, and require no button pushing, or battery to exhaust. They are also feather-light. Tritium lights are usually used only for critical applications like military compasses, and night-sights; we nevertheless source them, since our watches are used by those for whom timing can determine survival/success or catastrophe.

Great looking watchReview by BW
I recently received the heavy water diver as a gift. I am very pleased with the design and looks of the watch. It is large no doubt. But looks good on my 7.25 inch wrist. It wears light despite its size. But not so light it feels cheap.
Only concerns are occasional bumping the bezel with normal use. It seems to spin a bit too easily. Also the date window could be larger. I'm 48. Just heading into the world of reading glasses, and the date is hard to read without pulling my hand away slightly.
Overall I love the watch. (Posted on 9/27/2016)

What I the warranty on the Heavy Water watch? What type of batteries power it and how long are they projected to last? Thanks.

I believe these are the answers you're looking for:

- The standard warranty is 1 year, 2 years with registration of your watch.

- It is powered by a #371 (1.5v) battery

- The battery is estimated to last about 45 months (2-3 years)
